Our Warranty

Manufacturer's / Standard Warranty: means any expressed or implied warranty applicable to the sale of Your Product for a specific period of time from the original date of purchase of Your Product.

Mechanical or Electrical Failure: means a sudden or unforeseen failure of Your Product arising from a mechanical or electrical fault.

Original Date of Purchase: means the date shown on the purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice.

Original Purchase Price: means the amount shown on the purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice being the cost of Your Product.

You, your: means the person or persons named as the purchaser on the original purchase receipt and / or Tax Invoice.

Your Product: means any electrical or battery operated product that you purchase for domestic use as described in the purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice.

We, Us, Our, The Game Experts: refers to the selling retailer or an authorised agent of the selling retailer

 

What does Manufacturer's / Standard Warranty Cover?

It warrants that the products to be free of defects in materials or workmanship and mechanical or electrical fault, and shall conform to specifications at the time of shipment, for a certain period from the original date of purchase. During the warranty period, any defective products will be repaired or replaced, at The Game Experts option, on a return-to-base basis. This warranty covers defects that The Game Experts determines are no fault of the user. As the majority of items we offer are pre-owned, the photos in the listing of the product you purchase may differ slightly to the product you actually receive. Any return claim based on any of this information will be considered a Change Of Mind and will not be covered.

Transfer of Warranty

This manufacturer's / standard and extended warranty can be transferred to a new owner at the sale of your product providing written advice from you is forwarded to The Game Experts customer service within 7 (seven) days of the transfer of ownership of your product.

Returning Your Product to The Game Experts

You must obtain prior approval from The Game Experts before returning any product by contacting our customer service team. All accessories come with the product must be included in your return. Please pack properly to avoid any physical damage to the product.
The Warranty will not be honoured if the product is not properly packed and it arrived with physical damage due to transport. Once packed, send the product to The Game Experts with transportation and insurance charges paid.


What we will do

Once received, we will examine the product for any obvious signs of user abuse or damage as a result of transport. If the product has been abused, damaged in transit, or is out of warranty, we will contact you with an estimate of the cost for service, materials, and return freight. Warranty work will be performed and The Game Experts will ship your product to your Australia address. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the Buyer.


Limitation of Liability

In no event shall The Game Expert's liability to buyer ever exceed the original purchase price of the product's covered by this document.


Exclusion of Damages

The Game Experts shall not in any event or under any legal theory (whether tort, contract or otherwise) be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation lost profits, whether arising from the sale of products, any defect in the products, any use or inability to use the products, or otherwise, even if The Game Experts has been advised of the possibility of such damages.


Force Majeure

Any failure by The Game Experts to perform any of its obligations shall not be deemed a breach if such failure is caused by strikes (including without limitation those affecting receipt, manufacture, production or shipment of materials), labour disputes or any concerted labour activity, lockouts, boycotts, embargoes, governmental regulations, orders or restrictions, wars, war-like actions, civil commotions, riots, uprising, revolutions, epidemics, fires, floods, storms, earthquakes, other natural occurrences, or any other causes, circumstances or conditions beyond the reasonable control of The Game Experts.


Choice of Law

This order and any dispute or claim relating to it sold here under shall in all respects be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the agreement which will continue in full force and effect.
